Board & Committee Structure
Robust governance depends on a balanced Board with clearly delegated oversight. Muiríosa’s Board currently has nine members, full details on our Board of Directors can be found below.
To discharge its responsibilities rigorously and draw on specialist expertise, the Board has established a number of standing sub-committees. Each committee operates under Board-approved Terms of Reference, meets regularly, and reports to the full Board at every scheduled meeting. The current committees are:
- Audit Committee
- Quality, Risk & Safety Committee
- Remuneration Committee
- Nominations & Succession Committee
Each committee is chaired by a Board member and membership consists of a combination of Board members and management representatives.

Codes & Standards We Follow
Muiríosa Foundation is governed first and foremost by the Charities Governance Code. In addition, the Board has formally adopted the following external standards of practice and reviews compliance with them regularly:
